Rare in the wild, Wild Senna makes an outstanding plant for large areas.  Bees love this plant, which blooms yellow with black centers throughout most of the summer.

Wild Senna thrives in dry sites and can be aggressive.  Maybe create a meadow or large garden area with other tall plants, such as New England Aster, New York Ironweed and Seaside Goldenrod, as well as Big Bluestem and other tall grasses.  They should all get along nicely.
