A tall, stately plant that attracts a lot of pollinators, Tall Tickseed makes a great addition to a meadow or large planting area.  Goldfinches and other birds also love the seeds.
 
     Tall Tickseed spreads slowly via rhizomes but readily seeds and looks best when allowed to colonize.  Try it with tall grasses, like Big Bluestem and Switchgrass, and New England and other tall asters.
