High-tide Bush likes wet soil and works beautifully in coastal or moist gardens. It is multi-stemmed and has attractive whitish flowers that bloom in late summer into fall. Its purplish seeds are wind pollinated.

It's usually found on the high marshes where its roots experience occasional but not continual flooding.  High-tide Bush is a great shrub for wet, even salty areas where other plants struggle to grow.
