Forked Bluecurls bloom at the tips of the branches, making them particularly showy with five to seven flowers per cluster.  The bottom leaf is whitish with dark spots and the stamen curles above the flower opening.

The flowers open in the morning and drop their petals by mid-day.  This plant is an annual, although it self-seeds, so you're likely to have plants pop up every year.

Forked Bluecurls is of special value to native bees and makes a good garden plant, although new sprouts in unwanted places will have to be pulled.
